The EDOH Cloud Innovation Team successfully conducted an insightful knowledge session titled “Demystifying the Concepts: Virtual Machines in AWS & Azure.” This session was designed to bridge the knowledge gap for non-cloud domain associates, enabling them to understand how traditional on-premises environments translate into cloud-based infrastructures.
With over 200 participants joining from various Wipro EDOH locations, both in-person at EDOH-CMDC and virtually, the event created a strong learning platform that simplified complex cloud concepts through relatable real-world examples.
The session explored how on-premises virtual machine architecture maps to cloud-native services such as AWS EC2 and Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines. Through detailed explanations and interactive discussions, participants gained a foundational understanding of cloud compute models, scalability, and provisioning mechanisms.
A highlight of the event was the live hands-on demonstration showcasing how virtual machines are provisioned in both AWS and Azure, helping attendees visualize the transition from physical infrastructure to cloud-hosted environments.
